​Soundproof Door Set Fitted in London

This project consisted of 2 doors installed in our customer's apartment. The apartment's door is a European Style door set, fire-rated assessed for 30 minutes, with a soundproof level up to 37dB. The door finish is Oak Vienna laminate and the frame has a white laminate similar to RAL9010. Beside the fire and soundproof assessment, the apartment's door has also 3 point locking system, a high security system that prevents the possibility of house burglary. The door was supplied with a door viewer and a drop-down threshold mechanism. This mechanism is activated when the door is in the closing position - it goes into the flooring and no air is coming in or out of the room. This mechanism together with the rubber seal fitted on the frame seals completely. In this way, the door set keeps the sound and the climate difference out of the room. The clear wall opening dimensions for this door were 920mm in width, 2060mm in height and with a wall thickness of 260mm. The frame was cut in position by the fitting team because of the stair that was in front of the door.

The second door of this project is a living room door in European Style Non-FD30 door set with LA3 Master Carre glazing. The finish is Oak Vienna laminate for the door and white laminate similar with RAL9010 for the frame and architrave. The clear wall opening dimensions for this door were 900mm in width, 2045mm in height and with a wall thickness of 205mm.
